The startup club of the Düsseldorf region.
StartupDorf e.V. is a non-profit association founded in 2013. Run entirely by volunteers, it promotes, inspires, educates, connects and gives a voice to tech entrepreneurs in Düsseldorf and the wider Rhine-Ruhr region.
What we do
Our #foundersfirst strategy rests on four pillars: matchmaking between startups and the people who can help them, practical startup education, advocating the needs of digital startups towards industry and regulators, and telling founders’ stories early.
Who we are
Around 80 active startup members, 40 supporting member companies and a board of experienced founders and executives. Since 2013 the association has hosted more than 100 Gründerstammtisch evenings, the Unicorn Pitch series and the Dorfschule education programme.
Where we are
Our members are based in the administrative region of Düsseldorf — from Düsseldorf itself to the Lower Rhine, Wuppertal, Krefeld, Mönchengladbach and the Ruhr cities of Duisburg, Essen and Oberhausen.
